The gift that keeps on feeding: Subway creates a website that allows customers to create their own debit system for Subway meals.

Heading over to www.mysubwaycard.com allows users to create a Subway 'gift' card, with a predetermined amount of money- anywhere between $5-$250. There are a predetermined selection of card designs including creative designs such as:

There is also an option to design your own card, which allows for the use of Facebook or other photos for an extra $1.65. Romantics with Subway loving girlfriends should note that the gift card can be delivered with a 250 word message. The card can be sent anywhere in the world via UPS, or can be sent for next day delivery through the Canadian Postal Service. The purchase does require a valid credit card, and the gift card must be specified as either Canadian or American for the purpose of sandwich consumption.

The card does allow users special deals and discounts not overtly advertised, and there is an easy 'reload' system, so customers can top their card up by $5-$100 in any Subway store. There is also no expiry date on the Subway gift card, and it is a wonderful idea for the Subway fans in your life!

Februany Feast

Februany, the month of unparalleled Subway consumption is upon us. The iconic "5 Dollar Footlong"slogan that has become synonymous with Subway holds true for the 29 days of February. Too often Subway consumers are dismayed by the price of a 12 inch sub. The popular advertisement promises a foot of wholesome, delicious Subway for just $5 (excluding taxes), but very few sandwiches are included in this deal, and the actual price can run as much as $4 more.

The Februany promotion means that ANY footlong Subway sandwich is $5 (excluding taxes) for the duration of the month. Whether you prefer the buffalo chicken, the steak and cheese, the cold cut, or the chicken teriyaki, a foot of it can be yours for only $5.

Unfortunately the deal is only valid in the US. With only 17 days left on the promotion, make sure to snag your sandwich while they're still cheap. Join the Facebook event and spread the word to friends...
